Yucky, Rainy Day

It has been such a nasty and rainy day here. Rain makes me sleepy for some reason. I have stayed at home today (my son and I) and I've played with him some and worked on chacha and posted to some discussions here on mylot. I did my housework this past weekend and did laundry and some other stuff yesterday so I didn't really have anything to do. It's supposed to rain today and tomorrow and the next day too. Guess I'll be playing on the computer a lot this week. Ha,Ha! My question is what do you do on yucky, rainy days? Do you do work on the computer or do you read or watch movies or what? I think after I get off the computer I am going to read a little bit in my book.

Well, at least the rain doesn't interfere with your ability to be on the internet. When I used dialup I had to worry about things like power surges. Now if the electricity goes out I still have battery power but the internet doesn't work! Fortunately that doesn't happen much.

The internet service I had before I had problems with everytime it rained. It was a cable modem but for some reason everytime it rained I had to call them. It would work off and on but if it rained really hard then it wouldn't work at all. I felt like I was calling them all the time so I finally switched to one that works better and cost less.

That sounds awful! We have that trouble with the satellite tv which makes me wonder how good that satellite internet service is that allows you to connect from anywhere. At least you have better access now and at a better price!

I hate rainy days too. It cause so much trouble. It makes me feel bored especially it's a holiday.
In rainy days, I will stay at home watching movies, slepping or work on computer. If keep on raining, I prefer going out better than stay at home all the time dazing.

It's rainy here too. We are getting rain from tropical storm Ida. We are now under a flood watch, it has been raining now for almost 24 hours. I did some yard work the day before the rain, raked a yard full of leaves, now it looks like I never raked any leaves at all. Once the rain stop and the leaves dry it will be back to the old raking again.

That sounds like here...you must not live too far from me. It rained all day yesterday, last night, and then today. It's just drizzling now. We need to rake the leaves. They are all over our yard and our cars.

I love rainy days. They are so peacefel and beautiful. They give me a feeling of warmth and harmony. Rainy days are serenity to me.

I love nothing more than a nice spot of rain if I'm in the comfort of my home, though I hate being caught in wet weather if in outside "exposed to the elements".
During such days, I will just laze about and generally releax. If there's any work that I need to finish, I will use the opportunity to get on with it and make sure it is up to scratch. Also, I will often read a good book, watch a movie, or even fire up the PS3 if I feel like it.
Rain just chills me out and comforts me, perhaps because it has been scientifically proven to suit the sound babies hear in the womb :)

My husband has a PS3 but I never play on it. I do like to read and watch movies though.

rain, another beautiful gift of the god carries away all the tension mounted in our day to day life.i dont like to sit in front of my pc in a rainy day.i find myself most happy after having a bathe in the cats and dogs.sudden knocks by the thrilling thunder are amazing flavor of the rain.the rainy day has always a special appeal for the writers,players and everyone who wants to enjoy it.....try to enjoy
