what do girls really mean?

Alright about 7 months ago my girlfriend broke up with me and used the line "i think i just want to be friends now". well i got pretty mad cause that sounded like a bunch of bs, so i didnt talk to her for like 5 months but then called her and made things right cause no one makes me feel like she does. she can make me the happiest i have ever been and break my heart in an instant. what i want to know is wat do girls really mean when they say that they "just want to be friends"? because 7 months after she dumped me and went out with 2 other guys she invited me over to her house alot and them made out with me and were going out again! so i am just confused? girls i would love your opinion!
