ive experienced a 12 hour bus ride to the province and Ive also experienced taking a flight, 1 hour ride to the beach. However, both thrills me think what I am expecting to where I am going to. 12 hour ride, you can still sleep in the bus of course if its a deluxe bus where you can stretch the seat and lie down. while in a plane you can get to your destination as fast as you can not notice that you are already there. i havent tried traveling by sea, im kinda scared, and im not planning to try it anytime soon.
but for you, which do you prefer, land, sea or flying? which do you think is safer? or cheaper?

Today there are a lot of promo being offered by airline companies. Some are even cheaper that sea fare. If I'm catching a certain schedule I would go with the plane ride. But if I'm not catching something I want to enjoy my travel I can do that by riding buses for land trips or ships for sea travel. I know sometimes it can be stressful so it's nice to consider having the best accommodations on land or sea travels.

I've experienced traveling by sea, land, air (plane). As a kid, we used to visit an aunt of mine in the mountains, which took around 6 hours going there. As for air travel, my parents used to work in Saudi, so every summer vacation, I went there. Sea travel, I've only experienced it again just a few months ago. I had to file for the Nursing Licensure Examination in Cebu, and it meant crossing a large body of water. Air fare was quite expensive, so we opted to go by land, then had to cross the sea using a barge. It took us around 8 hours all in all before arriving in Cebu. It was a bit tiring, but the bus was air-conditioned, and we were able to watch 2 movies, so I think that was okay. Plus we had cameras, so we were just taking pictures of what was happening in the bus and the barge.
Land trips can be tiring too, especially for the driver. So my parents usually switch places at times. For the straight roads, my mom does the driving. When we go near the mountains and it becomes a bit hard to maneuver, my dad comes to the rescue

You're right. I've grown accustomed already to the hassles of going on a trip either by air, water, or land. But one of my weaknesses would be the fact that I haven't traveled alone by air yet, as I was always with one of my parents or both of them. But I don't really think I'd get lost because I already know the ropes of traveling, only that I haven't tried it all on my own yet

hello redphile!
12 hour bus ride? huh! that's so long! and from where to where is that travel?
well i have experienced traveling by land for 9 hours i think but its with a car...the journey is nice coz the road we take is just a straight one and yeah really nice and with nice scenery...although i have some motion sickness, i forget about it on that particular travel coz i am new to the place & excited to see the environment...
i have also experienced traveling by plane, the longest is i think just almost 2 hours...just a domestic flight...well, if you are in hurry then traveling by plane is the best choice!
and with sea...hmmm my experience in traveling by sea is also great...the longest that i am there is about i think 30 hrs...hehe
its fun coz there's also a lot of things to do inside the ship...and foods are great... and you can sleep comfortably specially if you are on nice rooms...
nothing to worry about, after all if its already our time, no matter how we travel...it will be our time! hehe
so for me, anything will do...but since my time for travel & having a vacation is always limited, we prefer to take the plane...

hmmm i see! then its good for you that you don't have such sickness that really spoils the fun of traveling!
ilocos norte? wow...i dream of going there coz i think its really a nice place...but just that i don't have a chance...i haven't been on those part of the north... my 9 hrs travel is going to Tuguegarao Cagayan... i think its also more than 9 hrs if i will include my travel from Laguna - QC then QC - Cagayan! huh! and know what? our travel time is more than the time we stay there!
well, no need to be afraid in traveling by ship...its fun and nice experience specially if you travel in a group!

Nowadays, airline companies are offering promos on air fares. Some offers are even cheaper than sea fares which is awesome. If I'm catching a certain schedule I would definitely travel through planes. But if I'm not catching any schedules or the likes I will just enjoy my travel by riding a bus for land trips or ships for sea travel. I know it could be stressful sometimes so it's nice to have the beset accommodations for land or sea travels.

I feel land travel is ,uch safer and cheaper and i like land travel because I can just hire a driver and just sit down cozily on the back of the van/bus . I went to Sri Lanka on a research visit to the geology of the mountains there and i just love the visit as i sat at the back of toyota hiace

I have experienced many train trips and bus journeys. I have flown on lots of planes and the longest duration was 14 hours. I have been on quite a few ferries. I love to travel by train most of all because it is comfortable. In the day I can sit and look out of the window. In the night time I can sleep in a bunk in a compartment. I appreciate being able to fly on a plane long distances and it is very quick. Economy class on a plane is cramped and uncomfortable. I quite like traveling by bus but only if there isn't a train. I can get sea sick on ferries when the ocean is rough. I would say that by train is the safest way to travel. My aunt and uncle were on a coach that crashed plus luckily they survived. Plane crashes are rare but they can happen sometimes.

If it's a short journey, I prefer to travel by land as I can enjoy the scenery if there's to see, but it's fun. I have been to a place where we only sit like for 10-15 minutes and it was already landed!
My friends and I had no choice because if by land, we have to drive for almost an hour before boarding a ferry together with the car. So, we went there by sea actually. We took a ferry for about 3 hours. I didn't think of anything else except the thrill because it was my first time, but now, like you, I am kind of scared as well because of so many things I've seen on news or movies!
The longest time I have traveled by plane was 12 hours journey to Italy. It was fun, but I have to move a lot.
I think by land is much more cheaper, but nowadays, we have the low cost carriage and they are offering free seats exclude the airport taxes and it's consider pretty cheap! And, safer I guess.

I prefer to travel by the sea because I love to sea the ocean and i love the long hours of traveling. When in a ship you can stand and go everywhere inside of it and there are lots of entertainment there. When i am traveling I don't want it to be rush because i want to enjoy the view.

I'd prefer to travel by plane since it's faster and you get a nice view of the world below you. :P
For your other questions, I believe that the safest would be traveling by land, followed by traveling by plane, then traveling by sea. The cheapest would be a tie between the land and the sea travel with the plane travel being the most expensive.

Hi. The mostly I prefer the sea travel, because it's more adventure in it, more to sea( if we take that the ship makes stops in many countries:)) The sea travel is something so cool and awsome, something you can't forget.

I prefer taking bus or coach. I think it's much safer in the land. It is also a cheaper way among these three choices. I am so much afraid of water, I don't know hwo to swin therefore I scare of sea. I am afraid of height too. Therefore I prefer not taking plane. But unlukily, if you want to travel to another country, you have to take plane. So prefer not to travel.

I think it's depend on the distance you want to reach at.
For me, If there is a long trip (over two day's drive), I will take a plane or by train, long time drive is unsafe too. a few hours drive distance, it's good for you, you know, if you have a car at the place you spending your holiday, you will find it very convenient, and make your holiday more cheerful.
Taking coach is another option, if you have no car. But if the distance is over 6 hrs coach driving, I think it is better to take a train if you can.
Time and safety is two things we need to care about when you taking a trip. Money should not be the first and second.

I have never traveled by plane because I am scared to fly. I've been on a greyhound bus twice. Once when I was in school we went to Disney in Florida and we took the bus there. Then we went to Washington by bus for a right to life march and also it was Bush's inauguration. I have never traveled very far by sea. We went on a ferry that we put our car on at the beach but it didn't take very long to get to the other side. It was fine but kinda boring. lol I think the best way for me is by land.

I prefer traveling by plane because in this way I can get to my destination fast. I have already traveled by sea but the longest I was out there is 1 hour so I really don't think that counts. I do want to try to be on a cruise ship someday. I just hope there won't be any storms that day when I do that cruise.

I like land trip more. I can see a lot of places and scenes when I travel through land. The only thing I hate when travelling via land is I get tired of sitting especially if it's more than 3 hours. I love to travel via sea and air too. It is faster when travelling in a boat or plane. And I love because planes & boats have lavatories wherein I can go pee whenever I want.
