yes it has become necessary these days...one cannot go a step without them...though i stay at home mostly but i keep one, and almost every member in my house keep one..mobile has made people lazy, we don't even remember numbers, all is left for the memory of mobile to keep stored in its brain......making our brains useless...

Hello Tina. Yes, cellphones have become very useful and a necessity these days. The technologies have improved a loy too, making them more and more useful. Personally, I don't use it on a daily basis. But, I carry along a cellphone when I travel out of town, and also when traveling overseas. I need it when I have no access to the home phone.

Mobile phones help us get in touch with our kids who are out of the house and we're able to track them. For emergencies at night or on the road, mobile phones are of great help.

Mobiles have become an inseparable part of modern day existence.People seem to be sort of attached to a mobile all the time, whether watching movies or listening to music or just plain talking, it has just become passe to be on call all the time. But excessive use of a mobile can be extremely harmful for health and one should be careful of the radiation generated from it and it should be used sparingly. But it has become an accessory and people care two hoots about the damage caused by it.
