i agree with you my friend. in some parts of the globe chocolate has a distinct taste than the other. we also have our local brand, though it taste good, but i think it could still produce some more taste if it is done with additional flavor. God Bless and happy cholat-eating..

hi also a great lover of chocolate and i appreciate you but i think you don't know chocolate is very good thing for health when it used in limits and washed your mouth after eating. chocolate contains alkaloids such as theobromine and penethylamine, which have physiological effects on body. it has been linked to serotonin level in the brain. scientists claim that chocolate, eaten in moderation, can lower blood pressure. dark chocolate has recently been promoted for it's health benefits, including a substantial amount of antioxidants that reduce the formation of free radicals, thought the presence of theobromine renders it toxic to some animal, escapily dogs and cats. so eat chocolate and make health. have a nice day.

THANKS for a very well researched response my friend, i appreciate it, really. thanks. maybe you can help me on something, please...? i am doing a study on the level of mental alertness of selected students and i want to correlate it with their need/preferences (probably i'll use Edwards Preference Schedule - if you are familiar with that tool). i would like to find out if students who are mentally alert has a particular preference that makes them more motivated to achieve something, or are they capable of performing better with certain preference.
but please, i am mot pressuring you, only if you have an idea about this. thanks in advance. God Bless!

Hi, alexysabelle Welcome to Mylot.
I like chocolate too. It picks me up when I am feeling down and it is my cure for headache most of the time. But, like everything else in this world, too much of chocolate is not good for us.
I like dark, bittersweet chocolates

thanks for the response, how nice of you. i have this office mate before, whenever she had her migraine attack she would look for chocolate, because she says it relieved her headache, maybe there's truth to it. Yeah i also agree that too much of everything can also be harmful... God Bless my friend :-)

yes buddy how to stay away from chocolate? Chocolate is life's greatest indulgence - man's greatest invention. I can spend a day eating just chocolates. One with caramel, one with raisin or cashew, one with wafers, one dark, one with raspberry or orange....aaahhh...after three days without chocolate life becomes meaningless

I LOVE chocolate! The only thing is that chocolate makes my cramps (from the time of the month) worse, which sucks because that's a time when I crave it most.

oie how sad. nevertheless, if health is at stake better not, because health is more important than any other "health-is-wealth, they say..
