the updates' status of my facebook does not update today

Today ( some recent weeks) i get disappointed with my facebook, because my "home" (on facebook) does not updates.
If i open my facebook in sunday, i see some updates status of my friends in home. However, I still see the updates of my friends on sunday when I open my facebook on monday and thursday. How it could be happened?
Whereas, my friends always updates their status. So I can't know their recent status.
I don't know why? Well guys, have you get the same problem with update status?

ok... i'll tell you briefly...
When I sign in on my facebook account, the update status of all my friends (in HOME page)do not update..... I still see their status on yesterday or some days ago. Whereas, when I go to their profile, I see that their status have been updated.
Do you get the point?

Am I missing something, or isn't this just because your friends simply havn't updated their status?
