Does beauty bring happiness

I often hear comments from people that a beautiful woman must surely have a happy life, a loving husband, and all the luck in the world. Maybe this is true for hollywood movie stars, because if I look around my friends, especially those whom I know since high school, I do see a lot of women who are not pretty, but having such good husbands, and become rich too. So what do you think, is a beautiful face the guarantee for a successful life ?

Well Godmother,i think beauty cannot bring the happiness.It all depends of our hard work and luck.If we won't work hard then we can't earn,then from where the happiness will come.seeing the beauty we can't starve.So beauty is require but it does not bring happiness.

No way. There is more to beauty than outward appearances. I have met the most attractive looking men, but after they open their mouth I find them very ugly. Beauty sure helps, you might meet them faster, but doubtful they will stick around if there isn't anything more to offer.

Being beautiful is an advantage in life, yes, but no it is far from a guarantee for a successful life. There are many people out there that see a pretty face and melt simply over that and give no regards to personality or intelligence. But there is a huge number of people out there that do not care about how good looking a person is, its their personality and intelligence that really counts. And so that is why no not every beautiful woman will have a wonderful life, because if she has a crap personality and/or is not very intelligent ( and there are many ways of being intelligent) then not everyone is going to see her as truly beautiful, if you are ugly or dull on the inside, it will show on the outside as well.

I guess this is an answer why other girls who are not at all pretty could have fairly happy marriages. They have great personality that outshines their looks ?

I don't know, to some I guess beauty bring them happiness. I think beauty can bring you success but not happiness all time. Like in some hollywood movie stars despite there good looks and there fortune they are not yet satisfied about their life.

hi godmother, i am on side of beaty can bring happiness. no matter we admit it or not, beautiful girls are more welcomed in this world, in seeking a good job, in seeking a good husband. people all like beautiful things. with beauty, girls can get more than the average girls, including bring happiness. but i am not saying that all beautiful girls are happier than ugly girls.
