Which animal do you think can kill you in seconds? A frog? or a snake?

it will always be snake for me. i am not afriad of frogs. there are lots of them in the garden and along the streets but SNAKES...no way for them to be loitering around. just the thought of it can kill me especially cobras.

Interesting discussion - I believe the most poisonous frog is the Golden poison dart frog - each frog contains enough poison to kill 15 humans or two elephants. One interesting thing about these frogs though it they get their poison from their food (thought to be a small beatle of the family Melyridae, but this is not confirmed) which means those bread in captivity on other food sources are not poisonous. The most poisonous snake lives in Australia and is called the Inland Taipan - it is 200 times more poisonous than a Rattlesnake and one snake can kill about 20 humans. This snake, however rarely comes into contact with humans. It could be said that the most "dangerous" snake is the Eastern Brown Snake (also from Australia). It is the second most venomous snake in the world but it more likely to live in towns and is more aggressive than the Taipan. These animal's venom will probably only kill in about 45 minutes and not seconds. For an animal that kills within a few minutes we need to look to the sea. Again from Australia, the Box Jellyfish can kill within 3 minutes so I reckon this is the real winner in the deadlyness stakes.

Hmmm as i can see they are both dangerous depending on what type or kind frog or snake. But for me, snake is really dangerous, i can even touch a frog an ordinary frog but snake? Hell no! Well just be careful.

In my opinion just snake guys, almost of snakes was have poison, whereas frog not. I was scared if find a snake. As i know some snake can kill a human just for seconds, even i have found in newspaper yesterday that a people was sprayed poison on his face, and then his face has swelling. And i think snake is the most dangerous animals that near with us.

It's weird and interesting,a tiger can kill you in seconds.I can't imagine one can escape from a tiger,especially for a hungry tiger.You are its quarry.

Snake / Serpents like King Cobras, Philippine Cobras, African Spitting Cobras, Australian Sea Snakes, Black Mamba, Rattle Snakes are poisonous. Philippine Python bones breaking snake & Anaconda can munch a kid. Poisonous arrow frogs are fed on ants and they're digestive system makes them more poisonous. Mostly in Amazon and in tropical forest. Used in arrows and spitting little arrows. Karag - Philippine toad are used to make wallets they have poisonous head some they eat only their legs. There are lots of delicious frog in the Philippines. Cats wins vs Philippine Cobra, Philippines Eagles/Owls wins over Cobras. Mongoose are 50-60% wins over King Cobras. Man 50-70% win vs Cobras.

hi rjvb, a discussion attracted my eyes, the animal i hate most is snake, i am so scared of them. i hate all snakes. i can not imagine that why some people keep it as pet. it is so ugly and terrible. i never eaten snake in my life. as we know snakes are horrible to attack people, and i think it can kill people in secomds. a selfish thought, i hope there is no snake in this world.

I think that I've heard of a really rare and posionous frog before, the one that can kill you instantly upon touching them, but I still think you'd be more likely to die from a snake rather than that type of frog. Just my two cents though.
