If you celebrate Christmas, how early do you put up the decoration ? A lot of the shops here are already done up for Chritmas and the Christmas stuff has been out for sale for weeks. But there is a house out my way that has been decorated since the begining of the month (November). No else round seems to be. How early do you put up your christmas decoration,? And do yo decorate the outside if you house ?

I think doing christmas decorations is cool as it gets people in the holiday mood, however doing an early decorations like in november is just but to early for me. thou if this is how one wants to do it i wouldn't stand in their way as they put themselves in the christmas spirit.

Hi missbdoll, I think November seems too early for someone to decorate for Christmas. We usually start decorations in our home only after 1st December. Maybe shops are puting up their decorations way before to attract more buyers. So that people know well in advance where to get decorative material and christmas gifts, sweets, etc. Of course if traditionally certaing sweets, cakes or eatables are made in homes. Then that sort of thing can be done earlier. But decorating the tree, house, etc should be done earliest by November end.

My Dad would always put up the christmas decorations on the first Satuday of December. I have carried on this traditiona and will be putting up my decorations then. We don't decorate the outside of the house, we only put a wreath on the front door and have some christmas lights in the windows.
