I am in a long distance relationship and I want it to last and work. But I am hearing 2 sides of stories. Some say it doesn't work coz of distance, falling out of love etc...
But others say that it can work. I honestly don't know which is a better option for me.
To hang on to the relationship or move on? Please tell me your views. I am open to whatever anyone has to say.

Long distance relationships work well. The thing there is communication, you guys need to be in constant communication so that the love will be current in your minds. There are many technologies today which you can use to make the relationship work better. Webcams and voicechats. Hope this helps,

Hello Vingoze!
Thanks so much for your optimism. Actually, he calls me a lot the past few . Even though he is busy at work, he says that he wants to make time for me still. We try our best despite the time difference to talk even thru the phone, thru skype, or webcam. It beats not being able to talk to each other as well. But how i wish there was a technology in which i can teleport to his side anytime lol.

Glad to know it helps, I have been in long distance relationships before and I know how it all went. No one will love to have love so far away, but at times you never just know, I believe whereever one finds love one should just take it, sometimes the ones closeby take one for granted but the farther away, the longing will be there and the resect and love will keep burning till the reunion. Communication is the main thing.

There are two sides to the story but it depends on you and your other half. If you guys both want it then you have to work hard at it. Communication to me is a big major for a long distance relationship. If you guys have problems talking to one another with the different time zones and just getting in touch then there will be a problem with how long you guys can last. But if you work at it and keep on the communication and constantly trying to work at it then I believe just as well as you should believe that you can make it. And if at all possible to see one another don't hesitate to do so.

Hello thuynhu
Thanks so much for the feedback. I do agree that long distance relationship does need communication. These days we do our best to call each other and chat. At times we end up so busy we can't talk. As for how long we will last we don't know yet sigh. I am making plans to go to US to see him. Of course i won't hesitate to see him hehehe!

No problem, I don't mind giving people some advice especially since I've been through it myself. It can be quite difficult but like I said if you really want it you'll figure out how to make it work. And if you guys don't always have time to talk then you should try to send emails. I know its not better than being able to hear the other person's voice but truthfully its better than nothing at all. I had to do a lot of emails with my husband but we're good. We talk when we can and email the other times.
