I read it last year in high school, the details in that book really are amazing.i could picture everything perfectly, it is such a good book. even the movie is amazing. I would like to know some of your favorite Stephen king books and why?

Stephen King has a writing style that sucks you in from the first page. He writes like someone talking yet he paints a picture and builds up the story. With some of the horror novels, things start out very normal, then go strange. By then you're hooked on the story and have to see how it ends.

I love Stephen King. He's one of my favorite authors. My favorite book of his is The Shining. It's such a classic and it's very suspenseful. And as a Psychology person, I enjoy reading about someones descent into madness.
I also like Nightmares and Dreamscapes, one of his collections of short stories. I enjoy reading his short stories because it's a lot of Stephen King in a short amount of time.
Although it's not a fiction book, I like his book On Writing. It's kind of a writer's manual, except it's interesting. I'm a writer, so I found it to be very useful to me.

I didn't now that he even wrote this book. Well, I seen the movie and absolutly love it! I just had no idea he was behind it. You just taught me something new. I think all of his books are great, IT the movie was horrible and terrifying but the book was awesome!
