If my husband and I need to go shopping we usually go together to get what we need, so we make sure that we get what we both went for. If just one of us goes, the other may have forgotten to mention something, so it's god that we both go.
Otherwise, we do most of our shopping on line from the comfort of our own homes.

I go with my hubby for the most part except when I go to Michael's (a craft store). Last weekend I made the dumb mistake of taking him in with me and I was not even in the store five minutes before I heard him say "are you done yet? why don't you know what to buy? Isn't that too much money? (I bought an ornament making kit that allows you to make eight ornaments and spent $3.50)"
He is great to go grocery shopping with because he will caculate how much we spend to make sure we do not over spend.

I prefer to do my shopping alone. I don't need to have someone tagging along and complaining that I'm taking too long...lol. And sometimes I'll grab an item...think for a minute about if I want to buy it...put it in the basket...rethink it and go put it back. Me doing that often would probably drive another person crazy...haha. Another thing that bothers me is when I'm out with a friend and I'm checking out, and they casually put some items down with mine, and they assume I'm going to pay for their stuff as well. I find it to be very rude. I had a guy do this once when we were in the McDonald's drive-thru.

I really do not like shopping alone. I hate it actually. I will shop occasionally on my own if I've got something to do that I'd prefer to do on my own and get out of the way like gift shopping. I prefer being with someone because I like being able to ask them about purchase considerations and they can help me compare items. I think I save money when I get to shop with another person.

Hi, Ice!
I much prefer to shop alone, and not waste a lot of time discussing every little item.

Perhaps going shopping with friends is an amazing thing, but I prefer to do it alone.
I guess there are many people who tend to go shopping with their best friends or husband/wife, then they can ask them about purchase tips each other. But for me, I really like to go shopping alone, which can save a lot of time. You see, before a shopping, I tend to make a lists of goods, which is helpful to save some extra time. If I accompany others, I guess I will have no patience to do it any more.
By the way, nowadays, I have spent some time on shopping online, which is convenient and cost-effective.

if i'm going to buy something for myself, i usually windowshop first before actually buying the thing. i do that because my husband gets tired of waiting for me to pick something, hehe. so i prefer to look first for something to buy and then i'll have him with me for his opinions, haha. i'll have to pick more than one so if ever he didn't approve of something i chose i could easily pick another one! but if it's not for me, i chose to be with my dearest husband so i could ask for his ideas.
