I can't quite remember which film it was that I saw first as a child (does anyone really remember that?!) But I do know what film was first to have an impact on me.
That was Stand By Me, I really think that film made me who i am today! My attitude to friendship and family was totally altered and influnced by that movie.
How about everyone else, what movie was the first to have a major impact on you?

I think I haven't seen Stand By Me but I checked it on IMDB now, and it has really high rating. So I'll put it on my list.
"what movie was the first to have a major impact on you?"
That could be a good topic for discussion. You should start one.
The first one was probably "Sidekicks" with Chuck Norris

Ok again I'm dating myself but the first movie I remember seeing was in 1964 and it was "Mary Poppins" I went with my Father and sister and brother and we sang all the songs from the movie all the way home, great memories. My second was one of my all time favorite movie which came out in 1965 and that was "The Sound of Music".

Sounds great. I know I'll still remember my first time in theater even after 30 years from now. Funny thing, I remember everything in details about seeing first 4 movies in cinema but can't even remember which one was 5th. The first 4 were just special.

Yep! That's the one thing I could never forget. I watched the movie Superman with my mother. When we were climbing the stairs I slipped and bumped my head. I was bleeding all over the place I was crying so hard because my mother said we should go to a doctor to check on my head. But I insisted that we go on and watch the movie, she said yes. Now how can I ever forget that movie!

Haha, Superman is more important than bleeding head. Good thing she allowed you to see it

Toy Story was the third movie I've seen in cinema. Second one was Casper and the first was Free Willy
