Only part of our superstitions, culture and beliefs? or have a real truth about it? It even have a phobia called paraskevidekatriaphobia,a word derived from the concatenation of the Greek words Paraskeví (?a?as?e??) (meaning Friday), and dekatreís (de?at?e??) (meaning thirteen), attached to phobía (f?ß?a) (meaning fear).
"The Knights Templar were a monastic military order founded in Jerusalem in 1118 C.E., whose mission was to protect Christian pilgrims during the Crusades. Over the next two centuries, the Knights Templar became extraordinarily powerful and wealthy. Threatened by that power and eager to acquire their wealth, King Philip secretly ordered the mass arrest of all the Knights Templar in France on Friday, October 13, 1307 - Friday the 13th".

Some may believe it while others don't, but what do you think?

it always falls on the 13th. that's how birthdays work
I'm guessing that you mean if it falls on a friday.
in which case, exactly the same as if it falls any other day of the week.
Friday is associated with love, so that's a good one
I'm not superstitious about friday the 13th. things seem no more or less likely to go wrong or right than any other day.

Hi. Fulltank. I don't believe in this this unlucky number. I know that I will never use this number for my pleasure into anything at all. I think that if a person believes in this unlucky number, then they will start to feel like this unlucky number will affect them somehow.

It is the belief of western people. In India this 13 number fear is not that intense like in western countries.
In my opinion no 13 may be lucky to a few people.
It depends on your date and time of birth.

Just because an ancient organization that supposedly existed started up on friday the thirteenth does not mean that it is a day to fear. It is better to have courage and not be superstitious. The number thirteen is represented with evil in the bible, but that doesn't mean only on the thirteenth of every month are evil acts committed. Everyday bad things happen. Everyday good things happen. It just depends how you look at it. If you are looking at Friday the 13th as a dreadful day than it will be because it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
In regard to this organization above, Knights Templar is a fictional organization created by the writer of "Angels and Demons" and is not factual. Wikipedia is not a credible source because it is manipulated by it's users and ever changing from day to day.
I am not superstitious, I'm optimistic that each day will bring me good will as I will to do good. You are not controlled by fantasies unless you live these fantasies.

I used to believed in them when I was a kid but, of course, it diminishes once I grew up.But,in some situations i used to believe in superstitions. For example,i select best date and time for doing any new or good thing. There are many superstitions about numbers in the world. The number 13 is considered unlucky in almost all countries.I think there is some thing in numerology.

I never believe it. 13 is also a number just like other numbers. Then why say it unlucky. There may be many good things that might have happened on 13th.Its human psychology that many good things will be forgotten but some bad things will be remembered. That might be the case with 13th. I will not believe it. All numbers are same. Nothing is good or bad.

I do not believe in that. There is not a valid reason why we have to believe it. Whatever happens, it happens for a reason. And if it falls on friday the 13th, it's purely coincidental.

according to a lot of cultures and superstitions number 13 is regarded as a very unlucky number.but i really do not have much experiences with number 13 to support for that topic i have read a lot of books in which number 13 is considered as a very unlucky number.in many parts of the world it is also said that if u die on the 13th of a month u directly go to hell rather than heaven, ive heard this dont know how much of truth is there in it.

No, I do not believe that the number 13 is unlucky. It does not make any different what the number of the day is I just do not have much luck.

I don't think that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. Even more specifically, I don't think Friday the 13th of October is an unlucky day. It was rather one of the best days of my life. My son was born on Friday, October 13, 2006. In fact, even before he was born I thought that the Friday the 13th stuff was just for superstitious people. Nearly four years before my son was born, I had arbitrarily picked the day that I would have an induction for my daughter's birth as Friday, December 13; however, she had other things in mind and was born on December 4.

Believe it or not, 13 is my lucky number! I was born on the 13th of the month, my 13th birthday was on friday the 13th, it seems when I find amounts of money I always find them in amounts of 13m whether it be 13 cents or 13 dollars... Onetime i found 13 dimes under my bed! Every friday the 13th, I always seem to have good luck. I suppose it's just one less thing for me to be afraid of, huh? And I've only seen one hotel that still has a 13th floor that allows people on it. Kind of creepy...!
