What a cute avatar :))
Yes, I many of my dreams have come true, the biggest one that of having children, and I was blessed with three daughters, and now 8 grandchildren and one on the way :))
Another dream, to be an artist and a writer, those have also come true, as well as my dream to travel, for in the past I've done a lot of that.
Up with dreams coming true

Hi,amy, that's nice atleast your dream come true in the same field..how many are there[influence of neighbors and their qualifications..activities..status..] on childhood days who settled in different fields entirely opposite to their dreams and atleast to their qualifications. So my friend is lucky enough to settle in the same field.
If i am correct, some where i posted relating to this subject-I want to study BSc[Agriculture] as my father's boss was of with same qualification and i was witness for the authority he shown on my father..Fortunately i completed MSc[Agriculture] with specialization in Genetics and plant breeding.I never forgot the happiness i i saw in my father's eyes.
Have a nice time in your profession, amy.

Hi,you are settled in the same field with wearing white dress..white dress looks nice to any body, hope for you it is still better. So here in India farmers call us as Plant Doctors,as we prescribe controlling chemicals to all pests and diseases on food crops and we are the authorizes people to prescribe.we know hat are all the causal organisms for diseases on plants and what are the chemicals effectively control...just like in your field, but those are related to human beings. If there a chance show me the photo of yourself with white dress.Have a satisfaction in your profession.

wow i will call you now a plant doctor.wow that is amazing job at least your helping not only one farmer but many of them and saving their crops makes them happy.oh also that is great job in the agricultural industry.since many have less supply of food and you definitely help plant and crops by addressing to pesticide and chemicals to ensure good harvest.

Kind of, sort of, I wanted a kitten to take care of, and I got it. She was not exactly what I envisioned, but pretty close to it. Goldie was three weeks old when she came into my life and I was 12 years old. My mother flat out told me that she is not a doll, she is a baby kitten, and she needs food, shelter, comfort, and all of the things that kittens need. My brother and I both took care of her, we woke up at any and all hours of the day to take care of her, and somehow we did it, but it taught me a great and powerful lesson, it's okay to wait to have children because after taking care of Goldie, I do not want children for a very long time, not until I am in my 30s.

Ah when I was a child, I only wanted to grow up to escape from studying and start working right away!!! Now that I am grown up, I am not liking it hi hi hi the pressure and stresses of life is too much...about career, I had many career options, so no wonder that I didnt become any of that!!!

Not quite the way I wanted it back when I was younger, but it turned out that I got the better path anyway. I really wanted to be closer to nature as an archeologist or anything that has to do with biology, I ended up wound in technical jobs at first and now have been staying for years in a company for a social-networking website. Well, I still have more than enough time to work on my childhood dreams, I may check them out for a hobby when I'm retired or something :)

When I was a child, I had two ambitions, 1. To become a playback singer 2. To work in a bank or a big company. I got a job in a central bank and worked till retirement. But the first wish of becoming a playback singer did not materialise. But my daughter sang in three movies and I felt satisfied.

When I was a child, I want to be a high ranking military man, carrying those weapons which I can show it to my townsmate. But then, as I grow up, my dreams were becoming different. It was all changed when I became a Christian. I want to be a teacher of the Bible. After some years, I am still teaching myself about the Bible and it seems that my dreams have been changing lately.

None of my dream ever came truth when I was a child. I felt like that I am incompetent of many things, and many stuff in life. I want to make everything to come truth, but it is not that easy. Oh well, we all do the best we can in life. What can we said about it?

Never. I wanted to be a fighter pilot. I watched movies of fighter planes and the dare devil acrobatics. It is not that I like war. But I like the speed and soaring through the sky alone at such high speed thrills me even today. Now I am a self employed computer teacher and my all dreams grounded. Still something lurks within which remains dissatisfied with what I am now. Me too.

Yes it came true, i dream of becoming a musician and at the same time psychologist. I achieve all of my dreams therefore now i have new ones. I have new goals in life. If you will ask me how? Simple! Because i did my very best to achieve it, i exert a lot of effort to achieve it. Just like you! You are on that status right now because of your determination to achieve your goals. People's dreamed will really come true if only we will work hard for it. Thank you so much for this very beautiful topic! Have a nice day!

When I grow up I wanted to be a pilot then switched into wanting to be a teacher and now I ended up being a nurse which was my mom's choice. I never really got the chance to choose my own course back in high school, coz my mind was set to nursing as my mom's choice and so I was.
