What do you guys think about boxer Manny Pacquiao

He lit up hopes of every filipino to strike it rich in the sports of boxing. I don't think what he has is luck. Rather maybe raw skill or if I should put it on a darker note, politics in boxing. We all watched movies about how a boxer suddenly becomes an overnight success and then later on go down to be 'just' another boxer living on the streets. I hope Manny's case is not that but everytime he strikes a win, it does leave me asking is he really that strong of a boxer or is he just someone's puppet to bring in money. Manny seems to be a very aggressive fighter. The fights he would go for are those that would keep on challenging one belt or division higher. That said, rumors about him always being the underdog go around and that is one way for the title holder to have more bets. If Manny wins then more money will go to those who bet on him. So in that way, Manny is a money making machine at this point. He may eventually overdo his useful if this is the case

I think that he is not a lucky boxer but someone who made his luck in the boxing business. He was the epitome of a courageous boxer who started with nothing but end up rich and wealthy. He has a work ethic that is worth emulating. As his trainers and handlers are saying, he is a workhorse during training and it is just but proper to be crowned in the ring. I think that he will knockout Miguel Cotto this coming fight night. I am eager to watch the fight. How about you?

i wouldn't really put it as "becoming an overnight hero" nor "just another lucky boxer". because it really took some time before we, filipinos, actually acknowledged his power. and i don't think its merely because of luck to have defeated champion after champion.. but yeah, he's a great athlete, a great boxer.. i just hope he forgets about his political plans.. hehe..

Manny is some guy, people usually look down upon him but considering what he has achieved so far and the honor he brought to the Philippines, I think we owe him that much respect. I think Manny's destiny is to be the greatest boxer ever in his generation. Cheers!

He is exciting to watch that is for sure. He was once a single skilled boxer previously and is now a complete fighter. No matter what others say, he really is one of the greatest fighter ever lived in the world because he dominates any division he is in to. No fighter has ever done that. Some will go up in weight and win but not in fantastic manner like Manny does. He always prove everyone wrong when they think he will lose. That's what I like about him and I am happy to be proven wrong once again come March when he face Mayweather which I think will win by points. Good luck.
