Hi friends, I am a very lazy person and during winters i tend to get more lazy, I dont feel like leaving my bed during early winter mornings and get up to start the day. I feel to stretch myself in my blanket and sleep for more time.
Also I cannot wake up without alarm clock but during summers i can get up without the need of an alarm, does this happen with you?

It needs to be train:
Get clothes, computer and breakfast ready the night before.
Alarms. I set my beside alarm for 0600
and of course motivaton to wake up
I wake up at six, feel fresh and hop right out of bed without any alarms or bribery. I get two or three extra prime working hours a day. Hope helps.

Hello Hiresh,
I find it very difficult to get up in the cold mornings, I set up like 20 alarms from 5:30a,, 5:40 am and so on till 8 am and even after that I get up at 9 am, lol.
Its so cosy in the blanket that I just can't get up, in the summers its more easy.
Today I got up even though its cold, reason ?
Last night at about 3 am I had like 7 shots of doppio coffee and it made me get up early, worked.LOL
Have a great day

Yes, this happens to me. It is a little difficult for me to get up on time in winter. I want to stay longer in the bed as it's warmer.

I hate the wintertime and I'm like you it take awhile for me to get out of the bed. Its not even that I'm lazy I'm just to cold and don't want to get from under the covers. In the summertime I'm up and at it with no problem. The winter is boring, depressing, and just to cold for me. Give me spring and summer anytime.

I cant get up on winter mornings. Even alarm clock can not wake me up. If I have some important things to do in the morning, I usually set up my mobile and keep the vibrations on so that it wakes me up. Otherwise it becomes very difficult task and even after waking up I feel sleepy for at least 1 hour.

I do! I actually like the peace and quiet of the early mornings. After a dusting of snow, it is actually beautiful and bright when I look out the window. Untouched snow on the lawn, or the rooftoops, very picturesque!
Then I'd get out of the house and start driving to work. After digging myself out of the driveway and contending with snow driving, only then will I start hating it!

Its really very difficult to get up in the cold mornings.you have to gather courage to come out of the warm blanket and feel cold. At that time you feel like to sleep more and enjoy the winters. Now when i see school going children getting ready early morning.i remember my old days.

This kinda happens to me. I guess the reason why your having trouble wake up is maybe cause its cozy? Probably you just feel that if you get out of your bed it will be all cold =/. Try getting a robe or something to keep you warm and make you feel like your still in bed. In winter I do take a few minutes longer getting out, but no major problems. In the summer I usually hop out of bed cause I see that its gonna be a sunny day, and on the other hand, in the winter its cold and not a very happy season for me.

I understand that you don't want to get up on cold winter mornings. I'm like that too. When it's cold I just want to stay under my warm covers and stay warm. I don't usually have to be up by a certain time so I don't use an alarm clock that often for myself but I have to set our alarm every night for my husband. It was cold the other morning when he got up. He went and took his shower and then came back and laid back down in the bed because he was cold and then he was almost late for work. He said he can't do that anymore because he was cold and he got warm and fell back asleep and I had fallen back to sleep too so I didn't know what time it was until he jumped up and out of the bed.

I can wake up on winter mornings, but I don't like to. If it were up to me, I would either move to a warmer climate or I would hibernate during the winter months. Wouldn't it be great to be a bear, so that you could sleep for months straight and no one would care. LOL

Hi hirshd, I have to get up but this week I'm struggling to wake even with two alarm clocks going off, I think they just aren't irritating enough to move me. And it's so cold and dark as well. I hate to rush in the mornings and prefer to get a coffee first and bring it back to bed but it's all becoming a last minute rush. I think its because the winter has started so much earlier.

I am a bit of an oddball when it comes to waking up during winter months. I love to wake up early when it is cold. By nature I am a "hot" person. What I mean is that I always feel hot, especially during the summer months. In the winter, however, I feel just right and very active. My body temperature actually returns to normal during this period. Therefore, early in the cold morning I love to get up and jog outside in the cold weather. Strange isn't it? I feel great though.

Ohhhh on those cold winter mornings I do not want to get out of my bed. It is warm and cozy and I don't want to get up. I am one who don't have to have an alarm clock to get up but on those cold mornings it really makes it hard to get up.

Hi!
Yes, this happens to me. I read what you wrote and shook my head up and down. With winter creeping up on us, I am thinking about how hard it is for me to get up in the morning. Especially when it is cold out. I think we dont like to get up so easily is because we have to look forward to taking care of the snow in our yard and or vehicles. Its also a lot warmer in our beds. I need an alarm clock any season though :) Good luck!!!
