How are you going to ask for permission if you don't know who owns the content you are going to post in your blog since it is already given out for free and might as well been passed on from other users on the net. We may never know until we get a notice from somebody asking for money for using his/her content. Did that ever happened to you? And also, I guess a lot of directories are using a system to differentiate between those that are yet to be submitted and those that are already on the net right?

I tend to sometimes use Internet articles as inspiration rather than just cutting and pasting. Article that I have used on my site with permission have always had the author's URL in place, but it is rare for me to do that. I have never been asked for money for using an article. This is such a grey area, that I tend to write my own stuff using my own wording, that way I won't get any "shocks" in the way of requests for money.
I find that on the Internet, it is so different from writing for hard copy print, as articles need to be smaller with shorter paragraphs. At least this is what I find best for me.

As for contents, its really hard for people who doesn't speak the English language fluently or doesn't know much about the English grammar coz I think it plays an important part on writing your contents be it on your blogs or websites. IMHO, I think its always the unique content that makes a difference above all else.
Btw, thank you for accepting my request at getref and welcoming me here. I've heard of mylot years before but I didn't got here not until now that I get on with the online biz early this year. And with all the wrong infos in the Internet, people doesn't have a way of knowing which is a scam site, which isnt. Good to know that there are sites like this where people could converge and share what they know about one thing to another. Thanks.:)
