What is your impression on the numbers "666"????

I think the notion it is bad is because it was written in the Bible about that number. And ever since it was interpreted as an evil number. Well for me, since I am aware of such connotation I am pretty much cautious in using such number. But that is unavoidable since in mathematical computation you often encounter seeing this number very often. But then I think that if you just ignore that number nothing bad will happen to you.

i dont really think it harms people but who knows you should watch the omen commentary for the classic one that is pretty creepy what they say happens it not really related to this but it is pretty creepy

My dear the number by itself can't kill but this number has significance in the end times. It is clearly written in the Bible and we should not take this for granted. The 666 represents “mark of the beast” and this is found in Revelation 13:15-18. Other references can be found in Revelation 14:9, 11, 15:2, 16:2, 19:20, and 20:4. Hi RJ, For me 666 is just a number and nothing to be feared of. I have faith in the Almighty and he will always be there to keep me safe. If this is evil... well, God's power and grace will still prevail.

it's a good number in my country, means going with a swing or plain sailing.

History and superstition, people believing what they are told. All these things kind of come together in peoples fear of the number 666. What was written thousands of years ago in ancient languages how do we even know translations were not "edited" to suit the users needs.

The numbers 666 are just that - numbers. Nothing more. Nothing whatsoever evil about them. However, they, in some way, will represent the name of the AntiChrist. Whether the representation will be numeric or some other form that can be conformed into a 666 presentation is not known. But, like JerZGirl represents ME on myLot, those numbers will represent or will be indicative of the one who comes before the AntiChrist. JerZGirl isn't me. It has no power of its own other than being the name I use to represent me here. The same will be true of the number 666. Wikipedia shows that there are several wicked people in history whose names also can be represented by the number 666 using both the Greek and Hebrew alphabets. I just hold no fears over this number - it's the person it represents who should be feared.

i don't know. before it was a sign of bad luck or satans number but sometimes i am able to not believe in it anymore since it's a bit supersticious. for now, even with posting before i tend to avoid the number 666just to avoid myself from getting nervous but at least i don't entirely believed in it anymore
