I've been thinking this question for a long time. But recently I was confused and even upset.
I'm a junior in university in China which is not so bad(personally think).Especially the teachers are not that good. So I decide to go on a further study. My parents hope that I should get a masters degree still here in China. But I don't want to feel dissapointed again because I'm doubted about the Chinese educatuin system. I personally prefer to go abroad (US or Canada), because in my opinion it's challenging and the education in those countries has a reletively high quality compared to that of Chinese education. But my parents don't fully support me to do that. I perfectly understand them because it will cost really a large amount of money and they're worried about whether it is worthwhile to spend so much what if I can't find a good job 2 years later. Besides, I know that it's really difficult to apply for a good program of master's degree in US or Canada.
Maybe too manys things involved, I don't know if I have made myself understood. I'm trying to figure out what I should do and make my choice.
Any advice is welcome. THX

hey... not all education in the West have a higher quality than education in China. if you can go to a top university in China, the education will be much better than most Western universities. also, it's not hard to apply for a good program, all the hard work will be worth it after you finish ur degree.

Thank U for your answer. I didn't say that the quality of education in the west is always higher than that in China. I just want to find out which one is better for me.
