We are living in a world where all the conveniences wec are looking for and what we hope for don't come as soon as we have expected them. Sometimes, it is exactly the opposites that are given to us. Every has his/her own way of viewing his/her situation. In your case, how do you see your life at present or in general? I s it half empty or half full?

I prefer to look at my life as half-full
Otherwise, I will be miserable and a lot of my friends would be annoyed with me if I start to become whiny.
There are a lot of things missing in my life -- kids, a stable career, financial stability and a lot more. However, I prefer to them as things yet to come. Someday, I will have them all with the right attitude and determination to work hard.
Have a nice day!

When I have made the offer then it is half full but when others make it then it is half empty!! Just joking! I will tell you about an incident in our life when we had gone on a foreign holiday and when we got back obviously everyone wanted to know how our holiday was and there I was narrating all the wonderful things that we had experienced but my spouse had only one thing to say and that was about the way the Customs delayed us which was quite annoying. So was my glass half full?

Hi dear!
I believe in positive thinking and I do believe that whatever I am and wherever I am, I am very contended and satisfied with my present state of affairs. I know that all our desires and wishes cannot get fulfilled and new desires keep taking birth, yet I see life as half full, I do not believe in looking towards emptiness.

My glass is always half full when I run into trouble. I may not realize it at first. I'll admit, I'm a generally happy, optomistic, go with the flow kind of gal - but I have to let my immediate instincts take over before I can continue with that process. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes, sometimes it takes a day or whatever... but I never let the 'half empty' person keep ahold of my life too long.
No matter what has happened to me - going thru pointless law suits, losing jobs, losing apartments, losing friends or family, being financially unstable or emotionally just.. not with it, I have always made it thru anything. Now when the issues come up that seem huge I can personally step back and say "are you kidding me Michelle (that's my name)? You can handle this! This is nothing!! Just take a deep breath, relax, and everything will be just fine"... and this works for me very well. I love it!
I wish there were more people out there who could see the glass as half full... we'd have a lot less people dependant on mind controlling medications - take a pill to make me happy, or calm me down, or pep me up... people need to be content with just being. Just because you don't have everything, doesn't mean you don't have anything - appreciate it before it disapears too!

Life is full of hardships and disappointment.Yet i feel the best way to lead it is by being optimistic. Its better to think the glass is half full rather than half empty as a positive attitude helps. The more pessimistic we become we wont be in a position to take advantage of the opportunities life throws up from time to time.
