How does one go on about to make new friends in a new work environment. Take this scenario you've just been recently employed in a company?. What measures should one use to integrate well with the existing employees. What should one do?

In the workplace - just as in a romance - you should always be cautious with anyone who tries to rush you into a relationship. We've all experienced the gregarious chatterbox who decides that you're going to be his or her new everyday lunch body. Or the senior maven who takes you aside for the purpose of having a confidante to whom she can dish all the corporate dirt.

I follow my instincts I may greet my co-employees merely as a co-employees but if I found someone wherein my instincts told me that they will be a good friend then I will do everything to be friend them.

Comedy is the best ice-breaker.
Start by taking the p*ss out of yourself; then, find someone else with a sense of humour, and start taking the p*ss out of them. I'm sure it will be reciprocated... Nothing like a bit of banter in the office to lighten the mood on a dreary Monday morning!
Good luck, chum!
