I am watching the news right now and it has just featured Hillary Clinton's visit to one of the cities that was hard hit by Ondoy in September. What struck me is her announcement of a pledge of $5Million as relief to those victims of the storm. Now, don't get me wrong, I appreciate any help to be given to those affected by the calamity. But isn't America also undergoing hard times? It makes me wonder if this amount is really a relief pledge, or something with a hidden agenda.

I think it is really a pledge, and we should be happy about it. America can no longer do the so called hidden agenda right now because they have also their own problems not much time to do somethings in our poor country. So many important things that America must deal with are the war between N.Korea and S.Korea that is happening right now, Their economic condition, and everything. Let's just be thankful right now. You know what i am worrying right now? If the money are already here, who will handle it? Will there no one to do some magic on that part? I think the money is in great danger of corruption if it comes.

True, how will the money be dispersed in a way that those who really need it get it. We all know of the intrigue the DSWD got themselves into with the relief goods not getting distributed. Thank you for your response.

Well we really do not know what is behind the pledge. We should welcome all the help we could to really really get back on our feet. The disasters that we have accumulated for the past calamities have been quite big and we really need some help from other countries.

We should be thankful about that US always helping us. Some says because US want something in return by helping us. I also appreciate their help to us but there always been hidden agenda and we can't denied it. I watched it in the news yesterday Hillary Clinton is like a celebrity.

Can say anything to that, for now, It is nice to believe her though but not to expect from it, coz before it gets to the real victims, there is going to be a lot of red tapes.
