Yesterday was veterans day here in the states and to those who have fallen to give me my freedoms I very much thank you. To you still fighting I thank you. Because of your sacrifices I am able to start a discussion on mylot or any other sight about anything I want and not be thrown in jail. I have been giving a lot of thought the last few months about what does it mean to be American as I am out there filling out job applications. We have men and women fighting overseas for our equality, our freedom of speech our rights. I am AMERICAN one nation under god. I stand by my flag the one that my dad fought in WWII to protect. Im left with this thought and it came from filling out a job application, If I am American, I was born here, and in today's world we are all created equal then why do i have to fill out a section of my ethnicity? What does it matter, if I am black white pink red who care's. LOOK AT MY QUALIFICATIONS! I need a job and I am American that should be the question, should it not? Are you legally able to work in the USA? my color should not determine if i get the job or not!
I have started checking other on the applications
