You have to consider the main reason why you want a laptop or what do you need with it. If you love to play high end games or you are into graphics designing then you should buy a laptop with powerful displays or with powerful video cards. But if you just want to use it for internet, emails, read news online, or chat then you can just buy a not so powerful laptop. You can even just buy a netbook. I have an acer aspire 4920 laptop and I love it. I love its design and of course I love its structure. It comes with a powerful processor with a built-in graphics card. Although the video card of my laptop is not that powerful, I can still play not so demanding games like The Sims 3, GTA San Andreas, or NBA Live 08. You can also have a look at the new released laptops by HP's sub company or brand. I'm talking about Compaq. I heard they release cheap powerful laptops to counter the sales of netbooks. Have a look on them. Maybe they have the right laptop for you.

Thanks bro,
I think I will go with compaq, cheap but very powerful..
I am more on internet therefore I don't need a powerful video card.
I am not familiar with the netbooks, LOL,,
I will check their newly released laptops..
Thanks again..

Ehehe. Go and check them out. By the way I think Compaq's newly released cheap laptops are powerful but not very powerful. But I really think those laptops will be sufficient for your needs. By the way netbooks are those little looking laptops. They're very small and handy but doesn't come with powerful displays or processors. They don't even have a cd rom or dvd rom. All you can do with them is encode, play card games, and surf the internet or chat. But they're cheap and like I said very handy. Maybe you want to check them out too! Good luck to your laptop hunting.

Consider what you need it for? Gaming? THen you need a big powerful one... one you take to and from school / work every day? Then what you want is probably a smaller netbook.

The VooDoo Envy 133 is the best laptop you can buy. No other laptop has a carbon fiber chassis, some have a carbon fiber layer but not actually made out of 100% carbon fiber. Very light, slim and powerful

According to me you should buy such a laptop,it will have following types of configuration,
1) 1GB RAM
2) 320 GB HDD
3) 1.68Hz processor
4) Core 2 due intel processor
5) 20" inch wide monitors
well, this is the least. anything lesser than this will never be in my mind.
