what do you think about sterotyping?

Have you ever been the victim of sterotyping? Or have you ever thought of someone else in a sterotypical way?
i think that everone at one point or another, was a victim or distributor of sterotyping.Sterotyping occurs in many different ways and sometimes, the person who is saying sterotypical things do not even realize that they are sterotyping. so, tell us your views on sterotyping.

I think sterotyping can be funny or disrespectful. My first year in college, someone tried to blame me for someone's item popping up on our side of the hall. The girl literally responding , "She couldn't have taken it, she's not even Black!". Of course I was fuming, I didn't touch that clock and I knew the boys in the wing who did but her defense of me not being a thief because she thought I wasn't Black, that was just too much. But some sterotypes like Germans who drink a lot, can be funny but a sterotype, I love my German people but I would like for that sterotype to die down just a little.

oh wow, that's a pretty hardcore sterotype. there are some good sterotypes too like people im my school think that black people are stronger and buffer than other people. Asian people are smarter and all are pro in math.
