Do you hate your Boss?

Hello everyone My brother recently came to my residence at my birthday party .I realized that he was bit confused and in tension and thinking about something seriously. When I called him he said that he was fed up with this job that he was doing from last 4 years being loyal and honest with his boss. he said that the staring two years were good but from last two years his financial condition has changed a lot after his marriage and he was finding it difficult without a raise in his salary. So he asked his boss about that. But his boss took not even a little pain to hear his humble request. I was very confused what should I say him. Please help me in this problem and give any ideas to solve my brother's problem. Thanks From Advance.
