Shell-
Oh my heavens! I'm guessing the other thread was up before you could get the picture inserted. I suppose I'd do what you did, take a picture and laugh! It will make for great shares later in life, especially when she has her own children.
I can recall when I was a child cutting my brother's hair. I was four and he was just a year old. I cut off all his cute little curls, and then proceeded to cut my own hair. Mom made me live with mine until my hair grew out lol.
Have a great week.

I never got in trouble for cutting my little brothers' hair (its even the same age difference as him and I)... but I DID get in trouble for giving him a make over with the make up my Nana bought me for my birthay one year. I got grounded and everything! haha

OMG I honestly would flip the f*ck out!!! lol I would make my daughter wear a hat whenever we left the house!! Definitely don't think you should cut it all off...that would be even worse lol My daughter tried to give herself bangs one time and cut them all the way up to her head and they are just now starting to grow out, she did it when she was 8!! lol so I hope your daughter doesn't do this again when she gets bigger like mine did =) Have you tried butting it up in pig tails? That might make it cute!!

Haha! you make me laugh! If she puts a headband on it doesn't look so bad. Mostly because the one she likes has a big purple bow on it so you pay more attention to it than anything else. lol
But I told her that she can wear or do whatever she wants as far as hats or barettes or nothing. She said "eh, I cut it. I'll just have to wait for it to grow back" and I'll say "are you going to do it again?" "OH NO MOMMY! I don't want to look like daddy anymore!" hahahaha
My MOM was a bad enough hair dresser when I was young! lol I didn't need to try and cut my own hair (although I did... twice.... haha)

OMG, too funny. I guess you need to trim the remaining hair to match. Not much of a punishment you can hand out here. She see the mistake plainly in the mirror.

I would probably cry as its taken all their lives to get their hair to the length it is and its so beautiful now, although my eldest did at the age of three put nappy cream all in her hair oil based I might add making it a real pain to wash out!
I keep scissors out of their reach for many reasons impromptu hair cuts being just one of them they have access to all sorts of things like cream etc though that they could make a proper mess with.

Oh believe me - all of these things are out of reach.... she took her playroom stool in the bathroom to get up on the counter so she could reach the cupbord that the clippers were in. She's also dragged the kitchen chair across the room to climb the counter to get the scissors off the fridge.... lol

OMG I should not laugh, but I can not help it. When my son was little, and I wanted to save a few bucks, I bought one of those hair trimmers, to buzz his hair myself. Well it was loud, and he was convinced it was going to kill him. Being the totally unskilled hair trimmer that I was, and wanting to show him it was OK, I put it to the side of my head, and the thing took off like a friggin lawnmower. I was shocked, and let out a shreek. Thank goodness, it was just a small patch next to my ear, but it looked just like your daughters. I didn't wear my hair up for a long time, and he did NOT let me touch his hair.

Could you really blame him?
Why shouldn't you laugh? Its freaking hysterical! I was devistated for a moment when I first saw it... and on occassion I still am - but all in all its hillarious!
So... how long is your sons' hair now? lol

He will let my husband do it, but that is it. He is not crazy about it though. I hope her hair grows fast, although wigs are all the rage.

Jeez! Indeed! Are you married (Or is your bf/partner) to one of the 3 stoogies? Does he really look like that?! Haha
I would just shave it all off! No sense on saving the other longer parts!
Don't worry, it will all grow back.
But take lots of pictures! It will be nice to give it to her future bf or husband!

Heck no I'm not shaving it all off! haha - I may be married to one of the 3 stooges... but that's not who's in the picture! lol
I have a bunch of cute pictures. The first day she wanted to wear a hat all day and was really embarassed - now when someone asks her where her hair went, she takes a deep breath and says "its in the trashcan. It was on my head, then in the sink so I threw it away. Why does everyone ask me that?" hahaha
