Giving gift doesn't matter whether it is expensive or not. It depends upon the preferences of the one you give it maybe you know what that person likes when it comes to receiving gift.

The perfect Christmas gifts are the ones that are unique to the person who is receiving it. There are tons of gifts that are weird and out of the norm, but it needs to be a gift that fits the person you are giving it to. A friend of mine was complaining about the fact that she didn't have many pictures of our group of friends. Therefore I arranged for a get-together at my apartment and snapped pictures like crazy. Then, I bought a pretty photo album and filled it with the pictures. She adored it. It was simple and cheap, but her face lit up when she saw it. So, just remember to think about something that would be special to the person you are buying the gift for. Those are the best and unique presents for each individual.
