Absolutely! I love my child independant of her father. She is an individual person, not an extension of him.

if you live you life for a man you are crazy my child will always come first whether me and his father are still together or not.

it depends on how you feel about being a parent to your child. your child should not be an extension of your boyfriend-dumper, your child should be treated as your child, period. if you tend to feel ire towards the child and might just take your blames and hurt feelings on him/her, you better not keep the baby. now if you love your baby, forget about the jerk-bf, keep your child and do everything to make life good for both of you.

Definitely!!! Even though the "dad" is a turd and doesn't want to take responsibility for "sticking his needle in the haystack", that is not the child's fault. And being that women are becoming more and more independent, then you can definitely take care of the child, with a little help from the family I am sure, but you can do it!!
