Thank you. In response to your question, yes I do believe I have done damage. But, as a true smoker we of course don't listen to the doctors, or articles that we read. We like to stay in denial! I am sure one day I will learn my lesson. Here is a quote by a great friend of mine: "Sweetie, It wasn't real to me, until the doctor showed me the x-ray of my lungs."

First tried it? Middle school, I was 12 I think. Didn't start regularly until I was a freshman in high school, and wasn't a heavy four-times-a-day smoker till a couple years after that. Now I quit it totally, hope it helps.

If I recall right I was 16 when I had my first started smoking, I was at my cousins and she got me into smoking. I continued to smoke up until 4 months ago at the age of 27. Eleven years I smoked and that was eleven years to long..my mother in law was put in the hospital last year with emphysema after 35 years of smoking and both my husband and I decided that it was time for us to also quit smoking. He was able to quit 2 months before me and both of us had tried a few times before that but this is the longest either of us have not smoked and I will say that even if it took a few times we both feel so much more healthier and more active in this short time. I will try my hardest to continue not to smoke.
