It's such a lonely word. Isn't it? We say this word, when someone leaves, or ending a relationship, or shifts to a new job, moving to another place or enviroment, moving on to a new life and a new beginning, or jsut simple farewell! GOODBYE! An emotional word You hear from day to day When someone leaves and undertain In coming back someday. The message you want to convery You seem to be affected But once you say it, Dear Tears just started rolling down your cheeks. For what I really meant Can be reached far and wide When your someone special Just leave you behind. Goodbyes are said in different languages Au Revoir! is how they say it in French But they do have similar meanings Paalam, is how we say it here in the Philippines. In Hawaii, they always say Aloha! And when you're in Rome, you say Arrividerci Roma! Adios! is how they say it in Espana And in Japan, it's a tearful Sayonara! By: Luz Feliza Dolores Natal Rymonte It's a tear-jerker poem. Right? What do you feel when you say goodbye to someone? Do you feel complacent and safe if you say this word to end a relationship? What could be another term in saying this? Could it be adieu or farewell? What other term do you have in mind? Please feel free to tell me which I think am not aware of. Thank you so much for the time and space in reading just the same. reading just the same.
