Are BPO companies stable?

Most people I know, especially from the call center industry, tend to transfer from one company to another in search of a higher income. They always keep an eye on high-paying BPO companies, which have mushroomed across the Asia over the past decade . But some of these BPO companies would either stop the campaign and transfer the agents to an entirely different account or, even worse, close down after a couple of months of its inception. Let me know your thoughts.

BPO stands for Business Process Outsourcing. Countries from the 1st world usually outsource their workforce from the 3rd world countries to lessen their overhead expenses. For example, if the minimum wage per hour in the US is $8. The job can be filled by people outside the US for $4/hr. Big savings isn't it?
