Why girl or woman like to wear high heels?

hi,bettydeng5! sometimes I wear high heels.and I find I feel so different when wearing them!higher,more slender,in a word,more beautiful.and most of all,they make me a woman instead of a girl. but high heels strain my feet so much that I don't wear them very often.I prefer comfortable shoes.that is ,beauty and comfort,I choose the latter.:) have a nice day!

I love wearing heels, but not every day. Heels make your legs look longer and slimmer, and also men seem to love seeing women in heels. I'm also only 5'4, so I need those extra inches.:]

i like wearing high heels with dresses. it looks better. sometimes i wear high heels with jeans or leggings for casual evenings. but it all depends on the occasion and what i will be doing.

You can get permanent injuries. My girlfriend suffered this and the doc has recommended flat sandals for the rest of her life.

I liked to wear high heels in my early twenties. I wear them everywhere because it makes me feel taller. In my country, taller women are a plus. But nowadays, I always put a pair of walking sandals in my car, so whenever I have to stop by for shopping or to a family's house after work, I slip into them instead of the hig heels. I also stopped buying shoes by the minute, whenever I see a cute one, because they may not be comfortable to wear afterwards. So I save up to buy more expensive shoes, and good quality ones,so my feet won't hurt.

Well the reason that I like high heel certain occasions, especially a date, is because I am very short so I need all of the help that I can get . But they still just make me feel sexier, and the extra height makes me feel more confident in a large crowd too because even an extra 3 inches or so makes people less likely to overlook me and push me around, and I mean that literally push around because I am in their way . But on a date it is a psycological thing, when I wear heels, I think it makes my legs look longer, and it improves my posture making me stand up so straight which accentuates my chest, heels are just an all around good thing for me in both of those kinds of situations

I think that it is because ladies, young or old, look more elegant wearing high-heeled shoes. My wife used to wear this kind of shoes for a long time. But now she prefers to wear flat shoes as they make her feel more comfortable walking.

women like to wear high heels because we feel sexy and tall in wearing it... but i never wear high heels always so that my feet won't get hurt after walking around for so long, high heels is just good if you are just working in an office since you just have to sit all day long.

I don't wear high heels. I do agree that they make us look sexy (especially when we have nice legs) but it's just not my thing. I prefer to be close to ground, so I usually wear sneakers and they're really comfortable too. There's also another reason why I don't wear high heels - my ankles. They're really in bad condition and I twist them quite easily in snickers, walking on a flat ground so how would it be on 3 inch high heels? Better not to know. But sometimes I wish I could wear them. Maybe not high heels, but maybe some shoes with thicker heels. They're so pretty, especially this autumn collection and they'd really make me look and feel more feminine.

I wear high heels for the sole purpose of either going to a formal event that needs a dressy shoes or if its a special party that I want to feel girly once in a while. There are some that I know who loves to wear high heels because of their need of height so they wear them most of the time. I on the otherhand am not that short so it is okay with me to wear flats.

In appropriate places yes I like wearing heels. I used to be a band singer and i wear heels during work, but going to work I just wear flip flops or sneakers or rubber shoes. Its not easy to run for the bus or to catch a cab on four inch heels. But I love buying heeled shoes and my friends says my feet are nice. I stopped singing 3years ago for I got pregnant then I will go back singing maybe 2 years more when my son is 5 years old already.

whenever i wear heels, i feel sophisticated and more of a woman. An independent woman who stand up for herself. It looks sexy and exquisite. I love wearing them it gives me confidence.

I can't stand high heels they mess up my back and cause alot of pain in my knees. In the end high heels mess up your toes and you need to have surgery to correct the bones in the toes all I can say is Ewwww. The only time I will wear heels is during job interviews thats it.
