If you have children, do you have an internal battle about working?

I have 2 children and every day that I go to work and leave them with the sitter I battle with whether it's worth it or not. Sure, we can afford to send them to groups and do sports because I make some money, but is it worth not seeing my kids? Am I doing more harm to them than benefit to our lifestyle?

I have always felt less then the perfect mom because I have had to work full time since he was 18 months old. He is now 9 years old. He has learned to be very attached in our time together but independant when I am at work

Personally I believe that your children would prefer that you were home doing things with them to going to groups that you have to pay for. There are groups that dont't cost. Is it worth making money so you kids can play socker or being there with them to teach them your values and showing them you love them. Being with a sitter wouldn't feel like love to me.
