i hate being the newest person at work, everyone takes off for special things while i sit at work alone cause i'm the new one and get the worst jobs. everyone is out to breakfast taking our guest of honour out today and i'm working alone.

Yeah, being the lowest on the totem pole sucks. Just keep at it. Your hard work will get rewarded.

It happens. But eventually you will be the one going out. Just remember this so you an be more sensitive to the person that will be staying behind!
