What do MyLotters think of the news story that NASA has found water on the moon?
"The space agency smashed a rocket and probe into a large crater at the lunar south pole, hoping to kick up ice.
Scientists who have studied the data now say instruments trained on the impact plume saw copious quantities of water vapour.
One researcher described this as the equivalent of "a dozen two-gallon buckets" of water."

I think this is an incredible find, and I hope it is the start of a much more intense period of space exploration!

I think this is so exciting and am sure we will be looking toward the moon with new respect as to the value of traveling and developing a permenant living base there. Anyone who enjoys space exploration cannot help but be excited about this.

I'm mega-excited, though I already know that it will take NASA years and years to do anything about it... What we really need is the return of the Soviet Union, so the space race can start up again!
I think it could be a really important milestone in setting up a permanent base on the moon, and travelling from there to places like Mars.

this is the thing which space scientists were trying to find from a long time but eventually the truth came after the LCROSS find it and then further confirmed by chandrayaan.
this discovery will certainly foster the research and development and study of the environment of moon for sustainable development of human kind
