I need some inspiration and humour to get me going

I have been staring at the screen trying to think of an interesting topic for my next discussion but my mind is completely blank. I need some motivation and cheering up to open up my mind again. Humour me and lets see if you can motivate me to come up with a discussion that others want to respond to.

I need the same. So, let's see. Talk about the beauty in the world, not the garbage going on. Talk about God's love. All the things we DO have to be grateful, even if we have problems. Good luck, and have a great day.

Thank you for your response. I have a lot to be grateful for but somehow none of it seems to be fit as a discussion topic. I'm not religious so I avoid talking about religion. Something will enter my mind soon (I hope)

Looks like you fell asleep! Try to read the newspapers or listen to the radio, you can always get some good ideas from there. I also recommend www.ananova.com if you need something good to read. They have so many funny news stories and I'm sure you could get some inspiration there. I think they call it quirky news or something like that.

Why don't you talk about Iceland? As a topic discussion you could say something like... would you rather go to Iceland in winter or summer? Another thing that would get people going for sure is, what do people think about global warming?
