delete a discussion?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to delete a discussion once posted? I have posted a discussion with a link to my music page which I guess is a violation of the TOS. I am only sharing free music, not selling anything, I don't want the silly discussion to negatively impact my mylot experience in any way. Any body know how to delete it? Or at least edit?

It wasn't that you posted it that got it deleted, it was that you posted it 4 times that got it deleted, well, at least all but one deleted. This one is still up.

Anyway, to answer your question, once a discussion is there, there is no way for you to delete it. I would say maybe get someone to use the abuse report on it and maybe a mod will do it, but it usualy doesn't happen unless the thread genuinely violated one of the discussion guidelines.

ok thanks. I hadn't realized I posted the same thing multiple times. I am not sure if it violates any terms or not. I think it's just a link to my myspace page where my music is. I'll just go ahead and leave it alone. I just hope it's ok, I'm kinda new to this still.

everyone seems to completely not realize these are even here, yu would do well to read them, many don't and then post discussions asking why their discussions are deleted.....which alos get deleted because discussions griping abut something like that are also a guidelinbe violation.

I also want to delete one of my discussion since nobody is commenting on it. I wish myLot had that function. But some of the discussions that I have commented have been deleted and I don't understand why. I don't see any offensive things written there and also violations. Btw, the question was what is your favorite number.

Hi, as other people have said, it's impossible to delete a discussion once it's posted. If you really wrote something that needs to be taken off (for a good and serious reason) then I guess you could contact myLot and ask them to remove it for you, but I think it would have to be pretty exceptional for them to do this.
I don't know that sharing your music and the link to it goes against myLot regulations. It's not a site that would earn you money if people were to go there, so I'm not too sure on that one. If I were you I would just leave the discussion where it is. If people do think that it breaches the rules then I'm sure that they will flag it for myLot to have a look at.

i don't think we can delete then after they are posted i'm not sure tho.
