When it comes to our family. It's my mom who often decide what to do. Almost always we follow everything that she said compared to my dad. She's quite strict but in a good way, she do it by example unlike my dad. And she has a strong personality. How about you? Whom do you prefer to follow?

When I was growing up, my mom was also the boss. Every decision in the house came through her. My dad took a back seat.
But, for really big decisions, when my dad puts his foot down, everybody follows. Including my mom.
For some reason, this is how I've patterned my family too. I let my wife run the everyday things.

Well that's good, it should be like that. Like mother should be the one who's in charge in most decision as they're the one who spent much time with the kids and knows what is best. And father should be there to take charge when things went wrong or need to make huge decision.
Thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

Hi Careguarden,
There is no BOSS in the family. Me and my husband live and work as PARTNERS- no one is superior and better than the other. we are here to support each other and continue to bring out the best in each other. we make it a point to be consistent with our instructions and rules in the family so that our kids will not be confused and will follow us with love and respect not out of fear!
