Paypal Refund timeframe

Have you filed a claim or refund or dispute with Paypal? I just recently filed a claim and good thing that Paypal decided in favor of me. =) It was the scam that happened here in mylot wherein I donated a dollar and in return I was given $2 in mylot account balance. But now its gone because its all a scam. Poor me! =D Anyway, there is a pending refund on my paypal account, how long do you think it takes for it to be refunded or resolved? Have you had any experiences that you had to file a claim or refund?

I filed a dispute years ago and paypal refunded me after 7 days. But if you will read on their site, it says there that the processing for reviewing your claim is 30 days max. I think it is all depend on the case... So when did you file a claim? have you receive that refund already?

Well I sure hope that you receive that refund. I know paypal is very coniderate in terms of that. There was never a time that I filed a dispute and didn't have paypal's support... They are very supportive always to get our money back when something bad happens...
Is that pending refund of yours is from the task here in mylot? The donate task?

I've recently filed a claim because I lost $12 on my paypal account. Someone accessed through my account without me knowing it and transferred the remaining money in my account to theirs. Hence, I filed a claim for unauthorized transaction. I have to wait though to determine if money will be refunded, but even if not, then I hope the person who accessed through my account without my permission will be held liable for it.

For some reason, the claim that I filed was removed and when I check the pending cases, it says "no open cases". I asked a friend about it and she suggested that maybe the hacker accessed my paypal yet again and removed the claim. Grrr! Thus, I decided to create a new paypal because I knew it cannot be trusted again. Now I am more careful with whom I share my email add to.

Lots of time I refunded money back to sender. Sender must contact to service provider before start any dispute. This things related to business if everyone start doing dispute without any contact it can create a danger for whole business.

i have filed a clam before and it took a few days with it being a weekend it may take longer but you will get it

My husband put in a report to paypal when he bought something over ebay and it was not what was discribed on the auction. So he filed a complaint. It was within weeks that he did get his money back.
I would suggest to give it couple of weeks to 3 weeks. It may not even take that long. Just watch your paypal account daily.

I never file a claim before. I think it is good for you to share your experience here. I am sure it will be good for other members so they know how to file a claim to paypal when they need to do so. Can you share the process of filing the claim to paypal? Do we need to provide any evidences or other things to back up our claim?
