Have scientists proved that homosexuality is biological?

I believe that some people are born with more of a tendency in that direction, but other people seem to switch later in life because of other reasons. Is it completely biological or does it have to do with environment, social, etc.?
Does anyone know?
Are there documented studies that prove one way or another?

Have they proven it fully..no I dont think so not enough to satisfy ppl enough to make it without a doubt fact. Not YET BUT there have been studies done and there IS evidence showing more and more that it is somethign we are born with. Unfortunately, there will ALWAYS be the naysayers who feel we are sick and twisted and made the "choice" to be gay/lesbian/bi or trans and sadly that is something we'll always have to deal with.

Up to 450 species so far (without free will that the human species possess), including penguins, zebras, horses, ducks, dolphins, babboons, elephants, foxes, housecats, moose, gorillas, pigs, mice, rabbits, swans, and sheep, all have documented homosexuality.
It is those same naysayers of natural and scientific proof that sexuality is genetic that refuse to see that they choose their religion that is telling them sexuality is a choice.

I don't think using "gay animals" is a good argument for homosexuality. Animals also chew and throw their own cud, eat their own babies, etc. Behaving like an animal is not a persuasive argument.

Here's a better question - what does this have anything to do with religion?

But he didn't ask how we felt about homosexuality. He asked how science feels about it.
