Hello everybody, I'm back from a seminar of a classified ad that claimed "work from home", I've know these for scam but I wanted to try this one out. So, I call up all the ads under the section work from home and find out that all the ads are from different people of the same company, they were the recruiters. Anyways I decided to go and attend the seminar, the person whom i had a talk with told me that this will explain me what the whole thing is about and that was the reason I went there. The entry was charged at INR 30/0.6$ and it was an hour long thing, here's what happened inside: I was surprised at the crowd that was there, maybe they all saw the classified and were here for the same reason, to get some extra cash. They start off with a video about the company herbalife, showing the various celebrities, and how global it is, its some health company based in the US. Then a host comes up and introduces us to the other people who joined in, they all went like "I was this fat before and now after using these fantastic products, I'm 9 kg lighter" and there was an applause which I found out were by the ones who were a part of the company, there were also random "wow" by the people representing . Maybe they wanted us to clap too, but most of the people didn't and that was getting boring, I wanted to know what WORK is it that I have to do ? but then they went on telling about how much they earned and showed their cheque on the screen and that they had traveled abroad and stuff. They stretched this for about 40 minutes and then he said now is the most important part, where a very well known person will tell you about this program. I felt at last, something about the work! BUT NO! even he went on telling us about his story and how he got in and stuff, It was over and they started telling " i was very confused before I joined in here but after attending the business seminar I increased my earning from 1000 to 18000, BUT HOW!? was my question. This is was a complete waste of time according to me, I also found a class mate of my older college there, he was clueless too. And the catch, they wanted us to pay a "token" amount of the total 3000 INR/60$ to register, and that was when they would even tell us what we have to do. I called up the girl who referred me and asked her, and that was when I got to know, its about referring and selling, they claimed that we have no work, simply no marketing but isn't referring marketing ?
