Do you believe that animals can tell whether someone is a good or bad person?

I think,in a way,animals can tell when a person is good or bad.they have these protective instinct that makes them gauge what they see in that person.they watch a person's actions,to see whether s/he will do something good or bad.dogs are in protection mode when they see a new person stepping into the house.when they see how their masters relate to that person,they can tell if that person is a friend or foe.

It's possible but we can't really tell. Dogs are protective in nature. They will try to back at any stranger good or bad. They are out guardians. That's for sure. But sensing a good or bad person is unsure. shadow41

I know that cats can. My cat Smiles likes our friends a lot. Whenever our friend's come over they are always greeted by Smiles. He jumps in their arms and sits in their lap. I think dogs can sense when people are good. My friend has a dog and every time I go visit he sits in my lap (and this is a 75 pound dog). He is very friendly. I told my friend one day, watch out a stranger may come over day and he would lick them like crazy.
