Hello, hope you could share some ideas with this. Would you consider a bad/painful event in your life that caused you despair and sadness a friend or is it a foe? Would you be surprised if i say that for me, it is a friend? maybe you would think that i'm just pretending. But honestly, i consider it as a learning experience, a part of growing, a part of being a human. It may truly be painful but someday, somehow i'll learn why it happened and what will it bring to my life. I know we all have our own ideas and belief with this topic, nonetheless i like to hear some from you. Thanks!

One event in my life made me despair. It was an emotionally painful event for me because it concerned my baby that I was 36 weeks pregnant with. I found out he has spina bifida and hydrocephalus. I was told that they didn't know if he would be compatible with life. I still went ahead with my plans to have a home birth. I had physical pain in labor having him. Now he is a happy little two year old. He has a bright smile and he is a friendly little boy with many friends. I had a learning experience and now know much more about disabled people.

Hello maximax8, I'm happy to hear that. Your sacrifice indeed has been very rewarding because of your child. I know your child will grow up to be a good person I also acknowledge your bravery and courage to continue that child. With Gods help i know your family could make it thru! God bless!

Hi, Michael! Well, I think you have to learn from the painful experiences, otherwise they've been for nothing, and you'll just make the same mistake all over again. Plus, even the painful experiences remind you that you're alive, at least!
