Corvette ZR1 vs Mustang Supersnake

Ok guys, this is my first ever Mylot discussion and for those Chevy vs Ford folks, I thought I'd make it a little juicy. I was wondering what you guys feel is the the car of choice to have in a man to man competition (0-60, 1/4 mile, daily duties, possible mods etc). Now I know the ZR1 may have the edge from the factory in terms of track performance, but that's only part of the story. Personally I'm a little biased as I have an 01' Z06 and an 87' Vette...lol I'm pretty sure those responding will have pretty good knowledge on both cars. the real reason I'm interested in this post is because I'm thinking about taking both vettes and trading them on either another beloved Corvette, or trying something new with the shelby. So help me out guys and girls.

Well, let me start off by saying I am a Chevrolet fan but i like all american brands, I would pick the corvette Zr1, but looking at the Supersnake (2011) you can get a 725hp compare to the Zr1's 638hp. Im not sure which one would be better even thought the mustang has almost 100 more hp, I would still go for the Zr1 because I have never had a corvette. You have a tough decision if I were you I would text drive both and compare them.
