There's nothing more comfortable than relaxing in a nice fuzzy robe and warm slippers. I love my robe and slippers, but barely anyone else i know even have a bathrobe, and the ones that do don't wear them like I do

I don't know about other people, but as for myself I'd say that there are other items of clothing I find more comfortable than saying wearing a robe and slippers. I think it's probably because in people's mind's wearing a robe might be like lugging around a long dress with all that fabric and maybe get's in the way? I don't know. We used to wear robes and slippers when we were kids, the only people I know that wear them now are those in my parent's generation and older. The younger generation I find tends to wear jogging pants, leggings, tank tops, comfortable tops with cozy socks in the evenings, and maybe curl up in a nice blanket. I do own 2 very expensive terry robes which I tend to put on right after showering, and leave on for maybe 10 minutes before I dress. If I'm visiting friends or relatives and staying in their home, I might bring a robe along in case I bump into someone in the night, but otherwise there's no need for a robe.

I think so, and this is coming from a guy who loves his robe! It's a habit that i think you need to be raised up to do. Wearing my bathrobe was a rule in my house, and I've lived that way all my life, and now I love my robe. I'm guessing that not many guys wear them, but oh well, I'm not stopping!

thanks for the answer! Yeah, i guess robes and slippers are worn alot by older people, but that was just the way i was raised! Now i wear my slippers whenever i'm home, and a robe every night and every morning when i'm in my pjs, or even just when I get cold! Maybe it's a tad bit old fashioned, but I'm 21 years old, and I love them!
I think it also has to do with gender, cuz I feel like I know alot of girls who wear slippers and atleast have a robe, but not many guys who have either

I have a nice robe that I find really comfortable, but it isn't worn much simply for the fact that I don't live alone. There are far too many people in this house for me to feel comfortable wearing my robe. I'm saving the robe for future use though because I do hope there will come a day when I can wear it comfortably around my future home in the mountains of Tennessee.

so, are you like embarrassed to be seen in it? I used to wear mine around my dorm, and I definitely felt some embarrassment, but it wears off really quickly. Eventually, i think people just get really jealous and want to get their own robes! but ive been seen by so many people in my bathrobe, it doesn't even bother me anymore!
