why do they call me ? esp when i am busy or cooking?

hi, do u hate "cold calls"? or tel marketing ? surveys? call when u r relaxing at home, cooking dinner ,taking a power lap? or when u were in the toilet?
dont u feel they r disgusting? how did they get my home numbers? they even cut me off when i tried to say something....but i can never get which company they called me from....
they will usually call u at 3pm or 6pm, i will try not to answer any calls at that time, cos if someone wants to call me, they will call to my mobile!
but if my daughter answered the call, that will make my day, she will pass the phone to me ,says someone wants to talk to u...etc
well, i just hope it is not too late to remove my name and phone number from white pages (for 2010), u know we have to pay to do that in here .
well, do u have the same experience???

I do find them really irritating and have my name on the 'Telephone Preference List' which is supposed to stop them. So, if I get such calls I stop them straight away and say, 'Sorry,but you should not be calling me because...' Most of them will either apologise or just hang up. However, I do have some sympathy for those callers because they are just doing their job - a job I would HATE to do - trying to earn a living. They obviously make the calls when they think people will be home. They get your number because other people are making a living by selling them such information... viscious circle...
