Have you given any or gotten any good Bride's Maids or Groomsman's gifts? What do you think would be good gifts.

I was in a friends wedding once and she had gotten us girls charm bracelets and the guys pocket knives that had our initials on them. It was very sweet and something i will keep forever. I thought that it was a very nice to thing to give to us

Yes, something that is a keepsake is very good. Pocket knives, I had not thought of that.

Money clips for the guys, a piece of jewelry for the brides maids. I do not remember what my kids did at their weddings.

Those are hard gifts to give since they are supposed to be personal but most places sell them in bulk. Key chains or gift baskets are always nice.

Are you getting married? lol - I'm just kidding! I think a good gift is something that is useful yet reminds you of the wedding. We had a Medieval themed wedding and we gave envelope openers in the shape of a castle to our groomsmen. They were pretty expensive, but I think they were very nice and hopefully somebody is still using theirs :-)

We gave personal gifts to each of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, because they were close friends and family. We chose gifts that they would like that would have sentimental meaning to each individual. I also know of somebody that bought their bridesmaids and groomsmen beautiful toasting glasses for the wedding toast. They wanted to have each glass engraved with the person's name, but unfortunately that was too expensive. The wedding party loved the glasses just as they were, anyways, and it was a keepsake that they could use again on special occasions.

I gave my Bride's maid an angel pin and my groom's man had gotten a mug with their name on it. I do not think it is necessary to buy gifts because the most important thing is that these people stand up for you. I bought gifts because I wanted to not because I felt obligated too.
