Christmas is fast approaching and i am already planning on what to do on Christmas and what gift to give to my kids. I think the best gifts that i can give my kids are of course a warm hug and a kiss from a loving father (and that is me) and whatever gifts that they wish to have in Christmas, like my son wants some new toy cars i will buy it, and daughter, can think much for my daughter cause she was only 6 month old but i think i will buy her new clothes and pillows i think that would make her happy. How about you? What gifts will you give to your beloved kids.

I still do not have a son/daughter but got few niece and nephews. This Christmas, I might give them toys that are educational especially when it comes to handling finances or I can just give them new clothes and things needed for school. BUt that will still depend on my budget come Christmas time.

You are a very kind person, well anyway it is already a tradition in our country. Maybe you are right, giving them educational toys might be the best and also helpful to them. Hmmm... i will consider educational toys on my list, maybe a laptop... Thanks for the reply.

I have not yet decide if I want to get any Christmas gift for my kids. But my daughter is 3 years old now, she is more aware on the things happen around her. We are not christian but still no harm to celebrate this lovely festival. I have just bought a Christmas hair gear and Christmas hat from at low price store just for fun of it. My kids love it. Perhaps I should get them some presents on the actual day. I am sure they will have a surprise.

I am not yet a parent. But I'd like to share what my parents has given me every Christmas which, for me, is the best gift in the world. There are actually 2 things that they give me every Christmas and these are: 1) The reminder why there is Christmas. Our Dad would tell the Christmas story over and over each year to remind us that Jesus is the reason for the season, and he would also remind us that Christmas also means salvation and eternal life. And, 2) An intact family, my parents had been married for 36 years. Our Mom would tell us that marriage is exciting because one never stops finding out something new about each other, thrill is ever present. :). They give us toys, of course, and a sumptuous meal that both of them prepares for us. But the story of Jesus and a solid family is the best gift of all.

It depends on the age but I would normally give something educational, whether it is a book or some educational toys. I don't have kids but I have nieces that I give gifts to yearly.

Hi! I don't have any child yet, but I think that the best gift for a small child will be a book with stories or something from the nearly or maybe not so nearly past( the last 13-17 years). The present toys are to comersial and are not so good and not so childish as these from the time I was child.

Kiss and hugs can be done everyday.. :) they are good gifts to your lovedones since it would means so much to them.. Thinking about children in christmas, they prefer something physical, something they will hold.. Kids love toys so much.. Just to make them really happy... ill give them toys this christmas + hugs and kisses too.. :)

I’d like to make my little chef happy so I’m checking out The Gourmet Grocer for a truly delightful gourmet gift hamper. I’m sure he will love it.

That isn't too tough, my dear. Aside from kisses and hugs which you surely do every day, give them the things that they truly wanted. Not because they need it but as kids something that they would love to have it. Besides, it is Christmas. Time to grant them their little, time of the year when we do not think what is they need but time to give happiness to their little hearts. My daughter loves to read. No matter how often we buy books for her, she still feels excited receiving a new one. So, books suited for a two year old tyke for her this Christmas.

My husband and I do not have any kids yet, but we do have a niece and 3 nephews. I have a 7 year old nephew and my niece and other two nephews are 4 years old. I always buy them books because they love to read. I will also be making them ornaments to help them start their own collection. At six months old they will appreciate anything you get them. I used to buy them stuffed animals.

Yes Christmas is indeed fast approaching. I don't have any kids yet. I'm not even married yet. But if I do have a kid I would give him/her some toys or books which are educational. This way he/she would learn something while playing and he/she will improve his/her reading comprehension and vocabulary while reading. And of course I would also give him/her warm hugs and kisses.
